KASKI Future collection wooden thermo exterior doors are designed for modern private homes and contemporary architecture where high thermal insulation, clean design lines and high-quality construction are important. Future models are characterised by minimalist Nordic design, precise finishing and distinctive decorative details.
All Future collection models are manufactured with a Thermo 86 mm thick door leaf. The door construction includes EPS thermal insulation, double sealing in both the door leaf and the frame, as well as a painted finger-jointed pine frame. The standard frame depth is 115 mm. The threshold is made of 25 mm birch with an aluminium front edge and protective strip.
Future collection models may feature decorative engraving on the exterior side, while the interior side is smooth. Versions with a smooth surface on both sides are also available. Models with glazing use triple-pane toughened glass with argon gas filling, supplied as standard with clear transparent glass.
The thermal transmittance value of the Future Thermo construction is Ud ≈ 0.59 W/(m²K) for models without glass and Ud ≈ 0.80 W/(m²K) for models with glazing.
As standard, the doors are equipped with 3 Tectus concealed hinges and an Abloy LC102 lock case with an adjustable strike plate. Adjustable visible hinges are also available as an option. A lock set — cylinder, escutcheon, keys and thumbturn — as well as a handle must be selected separately.
For an additional charge, it is possible to choose a 130 mm, 170 mm or 210 mm frame, Satin frosted glazing, double-sided painting, as well as an ASSA 2002 lock configuration.
Future series doors are manufactured at the factory in Finland, and delivery is organised directly from Finland. Delivery costs are €300 and are not included in the door price.
Manufacturing time is 6 weeks. The doors come with a 2-year warranty.
